taking your turn

In any order during your turn, you may:

• Flip the top card of Share Market Draw Pile once

• Make 2 actions (buying or selling Shares) and playing Cat ‘n Wolf cards does not count.

To end your turn once you’ve made two actions (you don’t have to make two), draw 2 Cat 'n Wolf cards. Keep Cat ‘n Wolf cards hidden in your hand.

Flipping the Share Market Card

At any point during your turn, you may flip the top card of Share Market Draw Pile once. Flipping changes the market prices and reveals a different Share to buy. Once flipped, it cannot be flipped back during that turn.

No Share Available

If there is no Share available to buy at the start of your turn, you may flip the top card of the Share Market Draw Pile to reveal one. This does not count as your one flip per turn.

How the Share
Market Works

The Share Market Draw Pile shows the current market price for each Industry to buy and sell shares.

Beside the Share Market Draw Pile is the Share Pile and it shows the current Share available to buy. Once a Share is purchased, the next Share shown is the one available to buy.

Share prices begin between $1,000 and $7,000. Cat 'n Wolf cards can change them within the limits below.

MINIMUM SHARE PRICE:

$1,000

MAXIMUM SHARE PRICE:

$12,000

Buying and Selling

To buy a Share, pay the amount shown on the Share Market Draw Pile and take the Share visible on the Share Pile. Your Shares are placed face up in front of you. You may only buy one Share at once.

If your first action is to buy the top Share, revealing another beneath, you may buy that newly revealed Share card as your second action. You don’t have to flip the Share Market Draw Pile between two purchases (unless you want to).

Buying a Share

Selling Shares

From the Shares you own, choose one industry to sell from and you may sell as many shares as you like. Then, collect cash for each Share sold, equal to the current market price for that industry. Finally, return the Shares you sold to the bottom of the Share Market Draw Pile. Selling any number of Shares from one industry counts as only one action.

cat ‘n wolf cards

Cat 'n Wolf cards can be played to help yourself or disrupt other players. Unless otherwise clearly stated, Cat 'n Wolf cards may be played when they suit current gameplay. Once played, place them face up on the Cat 'n Wolf Discard Pile.

If you run out of cards in the Cat ‘n Wolf Draw Pile, shuffle the Cat ‘nWolf Discard Pile and flip it over to form a new Draw Pile.

If a player is able to follow the instruction on a card that affects them, they must.

Increase and Decrease Cards

These change the current market price for an Industry, and any change remains in place until the Share Market Draw Pile is flipped — including during the next player's turn.

Blocking Cards

Anyone can play a Block in response to a Cat ‘n Wolf, and one Block may be blocked by another. There is no limit to the number of Block cards that can be played on each other.

Power Play

When played, a Power Play flip removes any currently active increases or decreases.

Portfolio Lockdown

Portfolio Lockdown cannot be blocked. Its effect is immediate.
